• The Steering Committee Board of Directors: A sovereign body made up of the Chairman, the Executive Director and the Head of Research, it decides on major policy directions.
  • Committee Chairman

  He coordinates the committee's actions and ensures that they are aligned with the SynObs vision.
  He also contacts ecclesiastical and academic authorities on behalf of SynObs.

  • The Executive Director

  It is responsible for policy implementation, day-to-day coordination and monitoring of strategic decisions.
  It acts legally on behalf of the Steering Committee and reports to it.

  • The research manager

  He supervises and leads the team of researchers and experts in charge of research on synodality in Africa.

• Regional representatives

The various regions of the African continent have a focal point who reports on the experiences of synodality underway in the region under his or her responsibility.

• Observers

Synodality Observers: they are front-line agents in the collection of synodality initiatives throughout the continent under the supervision of the Regional Representatives.

• Communicators

These employees help regional representatives to scan the continent to highlight all initiatives, and will be instrumental in communicating content.
