Aims of the conference:

• To create a platform enabling female theologians to make their voices heard in global theological and church discourse.
• To strengthen and promote the intellectual capacities, leadership and contributions of African women religious towards the growth of the Church in Africa and beyond.
•  To promote a spirit of women’s empowerment within the context of a synodal Church.
•  To establish a network of African women researchers committed to the Church’s mission in Africa and beyond.
